1. Agreement

These terms apply to your use of the Android application Adinand Auto File Sorter (package com.jyoti.zenautofilesorter), published by Adinand Innovations ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app.

2. What the app does

The app organises files already present on your device by moving them from your Downloads folder, and from any other folders you choose to watch (Pro), into categorised sub-folders based on file extension. It does not download or obtain files on your behalf, and it does not modify the contents of any file. What it does create is the Downloads › Sorted Files folders it moves your files into, a renamed copy (name (1).ext) when a different file of the same name is already at the destination, and the trash folder the duplicate cleaner uses.

One feature of the app removes files: the duplicate cleaner. It acts only on the copies you select, and one copy of every file is always kept. What it removes goes to a trash folder inside Sorted Files, from which you can restore it for 7 days, after which it is purged. Sorting never deletes anything.

3. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own purposes. You may not sell, rent, sub-license, or redistribute the app, or attempt to decompile, reverse-engineer, or derive its source code except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction.

4. Purchases and refunds

The app is free to use. It offers a single optional one-time purchase ("Pro") that unlocks additional features. There is no subscription and no recurring charge of any kind — you pay once, and the upgrade remains associated with your Google account.

All purchases are processed by Google Play. Refunds, payment problems, and billing disputes are handled under Google Play's refund policy, not by us, though you are welcome to contact us and we will help where we can. Features included in Pro may change as the app develops; we will not remove a feature you have already paid for without offering an equivalent.

5. Your files are your responsibility

The app moves files by copying each file to its destination, verifying that the copy succeeded, and only then removing the original — the order is deliberate, so that an interruption leaves you with a copy rather than nothing. Even so, any software that moves files carries risk, and factors outside the app's control (a full disk, a removed SD card, another app writing to the same file, a device shutting down mid-operation) can affect the outcome.

Please keep backups of anything you cannot afford to lose. You remain responsible for your own data. You also agree to use the app only with files you have the right to access and organise, and only in ways permitted by applicable law.

6. Permissions

The app requests All files access in order to function; how that permission is used, and what the app does and does not do with your data, is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. You may revoke the permission at any time in Android Settings, in which case the app will no longer be able to organise files.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or Android version.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, files, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under mandatory consumer-protection law in your country, or excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.

9. Changes to the app and to these terms

We may update the app, add or change features, or revise these terms. The current version is always at this URL with its effective date at the top. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the revised terms; if you do not, you may uninstall the app.

10. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your licence if you materially breach these terms. Sections 7, 8, and 11 survive termination.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. This does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country in which you live, or of your right to bring a claim there.
